Location Designation:Hybrid - 3 days per week

Join our dynamic team at New York Life Group Benefit Solutions as a Sales Representative! In this pivotal role within our distribution organization, you'll spearhead our growth by nurturing productive relationships with producers, driving new business, and ensuring the satisfaction of our existing clients. As a Sales Representative, you'll specialize in selling group insurance products such as Life, Accident, Disability (STD and LTD), and Absence Management solutions to middle market clients (50-5000 lives).



What You'll Do:

Cultivate strong relationships with brokers and consultants in your assigned geographic area to drive quote activity and uncover new business opportunities.
Take the lead on managing routine to moderately complex issues, ensuring proactive resolution.
Collaborate effectively within a matrix organization, liaising with underwriting, service, and implementation partners.
Deliver compelling presentations to clients and brokers, showcasing our products and services.
Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve sales targets, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Serve as a local market expert, staying updated on industry trends and changes in insurance coverages.
Provide an exceptional client and broker sales experience, ensuring accountability and professionalism at all times.


What You'll Bring:

High energy and self-motivation, with a proactive approach to building relationships and driving sales.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in Life, Accident, Disability, or Leave insurance is advantageous.
Possession of a valid Driver's License and Life and Health Insurance License is preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to effectively utilize technology and online tools.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel domestically, with overnight stays occasionally required (up to 60%).

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$60,000 - $120,000 (base + sales incentive)

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:No

Sales bonus eligible:Yes

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
