Notice of Positions Available:
BUS DRIVER
* Full-time (up to 8 hours/day), 12-month position
* Employee will be assigned to a regular bus route during the 10-month school year
* Must possess a valid Class A or B license with P and S endorsements
* Must be 21 years of age and complete training requirements specified by NYSED pursuant to 8NYCRR Education Al Part 156
* During non-driving hours, employee will be given other duties as assigned by supervisor
* Pay will be per the SRP contract
ANTICIPATED OPENING: DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION
* Seeking a great team leader who's enthusiastic, child-focused, and culturally responsive.
* Develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of the district's K-12 special education programs and related services.
* Ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other relevant state and federal education laws and regulations.
* Provide leadership, supervision, and professional development for special education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff.
* Serve as a liaison between the district and parents/guardians of students receiving special education services, fostering positive relationships and addressing concerns
BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST (10-months, plus summer days)
* Provide targeted instructional support and coaching in the area of behavior support
* Seeking a great team leader who's enthusiastic, child-focused, and culturally responsive.
* Develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of the district's K-12 special education programs and related services.
* Ensure compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other relevant state and federal education laws and regulations.
* Provide leadership, supervision, and professional development for special education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff.
* Serve as a liaison between the district and parents/guardians of students receiving special education services, fostering positive relationships and addressing concerns.
(2025-2026 school year) HS SCIENCE TEACHER-
* A Teacher, or Classroom Instructor, is responsible for supervising, educating and supporting students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks. Their duties include planning lessons that target specific skills and concepts, managing classroom behavior to keep all students engaged in the lesson and providing individual support and feedback for their students.
* Certification in Chemistry
SPEECH & LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
* Hold a valid NYS teaching certificate in tenure area;
* Possess a thorough knowledge of field;
* Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and good judgement;
* Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize for effective teaching
and learning;
* Understand the nature and needs of the age group served;
* Able to develop and maintain productive human relationships;
* Previous classroom teaching experience preferred
SCHOOL BUS ATTENDANT
* Full-time, 10-Month position
* Need to complete NYSED Pre-Service and Physical Performance Test
* Patience and a team mindset
* Support bus driver when needed and attend to specific needs of student(s) while on school transportation
* Pay will be per the SRP contract, starting at $16.30/hour
