Job Description:
Chemist (HPLC)
Busy nutraceuticalmanufacturing company is looking for a Chemistto support their team. We are looking for a candidate with skills using the HPLC, a strong chemistryfoundation, positive attitude, and solid work ethic to contribute and expand their career!
Key responsibilities
Experience using the HPLC is needed (1 to 4+ years). Waters system and Empower software is a plus.
Additional responsibilitieswill include: receive and prep samples for chemicalanalysis. This will include sample weighing, dissolving, proper dilutions,ash oven testing,moisture bydrying oven,pH using a pH meter,density using tap density machine,fat analysis using ether an extraction procedure/hot plate, and Kjeldahl for protein. Additional wet chemistry techniques including titrations will be used.
Basic math skills in calculating percentages are needed, and experience usingExcel and Word.
BS degree in Chemistryor related fieldis needed. Experience with Chemistry techniquesin a GMP environment is desired.
