Reporting to the VP of Dispensed Equipment Innovation & Freestyle Operations, the Director, Equipment Solutions & Customer Engagement will act as the primary point of contact between customer teams, equipment providers and The Coca-Cola System.
This role is critical to understanding the needs of both customers and customer teams, conveying them to every member of the extended project teams and ensuring that the solutions provided are innovative, effective and delivered on time.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to navigate The Coca-Cola System (including equipment manufacturers), influence to drive on-time results, technical knowledge, and a customer-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer teams, understanding their needs and requirements.
- Communicate customer team needs to equipment providers and system stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the transfer of information.
- Collaborate with equipment providers to develop innovative solutions that meet customer and customer team needs.
- Design cadences to drive progress with the ambition to exceed the expectations of both customers and customer teams.
- Proactively gather feedback and ensure clarity on next steps for all projects.
- Facilitate meetings and discussions between customers, customers teams, and equipment providers as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, needs, and solutions provided.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to stay informed about emerging equipment and technologies.
- Prioritize and drive high ROI equipment projects and programs for focused strategic customer teams.
- Align and direct cross-functional resources.
- Develop and execute project plans and timelines.
- Facilitate the identification of project risks and establishing risk management plans.
- Consult and influence at various levels, in and across a wide variety of functions.
- Participate in the identification, development, and implementation of process improvements for commercialization.
- Data-based story telling for final delivery of projects to customers and customer teams
Qualifications:
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with Food Service or On-Premise customers
- Ability to understand and convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- 3+ years of related work experience leading business process improvement initiatives, project management, and change management leadership.
- Excellent Project / Program Management Skills
- Ability to Lead Cross-functional teams to Deliver Results.
- Working knowledge of Innovation, Supply Chain and/or Technical Function(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the service or consumer products industry
- Technical background or experience in a role requiring knowledge of equipment and machinery.
Functional Skills:
- Technical capability (equipment and online tools): Able to create operational solutions and utilize system tools to deliver customer value.
- Financial Acumen: Build and manage service and equipment expense budgets through the ABP and RE process for aligned portfolio.
- Presentation development and delivery: Utilize C4V methodology and tools to effectively deliver customer stewardship and the Coca-Cola operational value proposition both written and verbally.
- Influencing: Able to communicate a compelling story to motivate and align internal and external clients to achieve a desired outcome.
- Strategic thinking: Able to create a strategic plan that addresses customer needs while also driving company profitability.
