Director Workforce Technologies
Lee Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director, Workforce Technologies to lead and manage key technology teams, including Identity Management, Remote Management and Monitoring, and oversee IT department policy and purchasing functions. The Director, Workforce Technologies will play a critical role in shaping the organization's technology infrastructure, security, and operational efficiency, while ensuring alignment with business goals. This position requires a proven leader with strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of IT best practices, and a track record of driving technology strategies in a dynamic business environment.

Position Responsibilities
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, providing guidance, career development opportunities, and performance feedback.
- Oversee and implement identity management strategies, including user provisioning, role-based access
- Manage lifecycle management processes to ensure timely updates and secure access.
- Lead the remote monitoring and management of company-wide Endpoint ecosystem management.
- Ensure that all remote Endpoint devices are monitored 24/7 for performance, security, and availability, with quick response times to any disruptions or vulnerabilities.
- Optimize remote management tools and processes to support seamless remote work capabilities for employees.
- Oversee departmental IT purchasing decisions, managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements to ensure the best value and performance from technology partners while working with the IT Procurement dept
- Assist the VP of Workforce Technologies with overall management of the department budget for procurement of hardware, software, and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet operational needs. Work closely with the finance and procurement teams to forecast technology needs and manage the lifecycle of IT assets. Collaborate with the senior leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives related to technology infrastructure, security, and modernization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that Lee Enterprises remains at the forefront of IT innovation.
- Strong understanding of Intune and its capabilities for MDM and MAM.
- Knowledge of networking concepts
- Understanding of ITIL best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field/Job Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure/Intune.
- Experience in large Enterprise Intune/Autopilot deployments
