Job Title: Event Coordinator

Location: Redwood City, CA 94063 - Onsite

Duration: 6 Months - Onsite Role - (Extension/Conversion based on performance)

Pay Rate: ($25-$27.73) hourly

Shift: Part-Time - Role 20 hours a week/ONSITE (potential for hybrid later)

Timing: 9 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Thursday (may need to adjust depending on the event)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with SDS teams to develop comprehensive event plans.
• Manage logistics, including venue selection, registration, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee on-site event operations and provide exceptional attendee experiences.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  
  Financial Management:
• Track event budgets, process invoices, and reconcile expenses.
• Analyze event performance metrics to inform future strategies.
  
  Communication and Collaboration:
• Effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
• Build strong relationships and foster a collaborative work environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of event management experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office1 Suite and G-Workspace.

• Experience with event management software.
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
• A passion for data science and a desire to contribute to academic research.
