Our client, a national construction/real estate company, is looking for a Internal Communications Specialist to join their team 11/1 through 2/1/25 with the possibility to extend or go full-time for the right fit.
This role is 40 hours per week and ideally hybrid onsite 1-2 days per week at one of their hubs: Houston, Nashville, Denver, and Phoenix.
Position Overview
The Internal Communications Specialist will play a critical role in enhancing employee engagement through effective communication strategies. This position focuses on creating and disseminating internal communications that align with the company's objectives and values, ensuring that all employees are informed, motivated, and connected.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with company goals.
- Create compelling and engaging content for newsletters, announcements, and internal events.
- Design and deliver presentations using PowerPoint to effectively communicate key messages to employees.
- Coordinate and organize internal events to foster employee engagement and community.
- Conduct research to gather insights and feedback from employees to inform communication strategies.
- Identify key messages and ensure consistent delivery across various internal channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working in a Communications/PR role
- Proven experience in copywriting and producing engaging content for internal communications.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint for creating presentations and visual materials.
- Experience in organizing and managing internal events and initiatives.
- Familiarity with newsletter creation and distribution processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
