This role is responsible for assisting with tax accounting and compliance work streams.

Responsibilities

·       Provides for tax accounting activities including assisting the management team with planning, managing, completing, and reviewing ASC 740 quarterly and annual accounting cycle process, with emphasis on preparing US International tax calculations (GILTI, subpart F, E&P, BEAT, FDII, foreign tax credit, etc.) and local country tax provisions.

·       Monitors developments in GAAP and US international and local country tax law that impact the tax accounting process.

·       Documents tax risks and internal controls/assisting with quarterly and annual SOX controls, and assisting with the implementation, design, and revision of provision related processes and tools and local country tax governance.

·       Prepares and/or reviews US international compliance (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8991, 8992, 8993, 1118, statements, elections, etc).  Prepares and/or coordinates with external providers to complete and/or review local country tax compliance, indirect/transactional reporting (including GST and VAT) and local, IFRS and US GAAP reporting obligations.

·       Assists with income tax audits and notices.  Prepares and/or reviews tax estimates and participates in cash tax forecasting.

·       Trains and develops tax accounting and compliance technical skills of other tax accountants.

·       Assists with various research and special projects (process and technology optimization, tax modeling and planning, transfer pricing, withholding tax, acquisitions and integrations, etc.), as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

·       Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Accounting or Finance, required.

·       CPA (licensed or in progress), preferred.

·       9+ years of related experience, including 3 or more years of US international tax specific experience, required.

·       12+ years of related experience, preferred.

·       Project leadership skills with the ability to coordinate project phases, lead the work of others, and navigate project teams through roadblocks.

·       Skilled in OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision.

·       Strong industry knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of US international taxation.  Familiar with accounting and reporting matters, GAAP and SEC disclosure rules.  Exposure to local country tax law a plus, but not required.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate across teams.

·       Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

·       Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

·       Strong tax technology skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an intermediate level.  Experience with Alteryx or other ETL tools a plus.

·       Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.

·       Must be 18 years of age or older.

·       Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.

·       Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
