Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Logistics Analyst in Green Bay, WI or Wayne, NJ to handle operational-related tasks and analyze current services, projects and business initiatives to provide information for better decision-making. The Logistics Analyst will maintain databases, extract information and develop metrics to improve performance.

Responsibilities:

Develop intermediate reports for root cause analysis of transportation issues.
Prepare and interpret data to aid leadership decision-making.
Implement process changes for continuous improvement.
Develop supply chain metrics and goals.
Provide support and analysis for transportation management systems.
Report project statuses to leadership teams.
Lead small cross-functional processes to achieve desired outcomes.

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor degree in business, supply chain, computer science or related field.
Two years of experience in an analytical role at a logistics/transportation company.
Experience with data mining.
Able to create solutions-based reports.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Able to work onsite at a customer location.
