We are hiring immediately for a full-time Manufacturing Supervisor for 3rd Shift!

Your focus would be coordinating production, packing, ingredient processing, taking the forefront in safety and quality, employee engagement and coaching and compliance with regulatory needs.SAFETY is our core value.Continuous improvement is always our goal so you must be energized by making things better through projects and your daily work.
Hours: 11pm - 7am (must be available to working on all shifts when needed).
You will report to the Operations Manager and will have several direct reports to mentor and develop.
Experience-Education (Required):
High School Diploma required and 2+ years of leadership experience required
2+ years of food manufacturing preferred
Bachelor's degree preferably in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field, highly preferred
Processing/manufacturing exposure required
Competencies-Skills (Required):
Communication, Decision Making, Safety Awareness, Quality Orientation, Technical / Professional Knowledge, Customer Focus, Time Management, Computer skills.
Competencies-Skills (Preferred):
Advanced Safety training, HACCP training/certifications
Experience with GMP's, HAACP, sanitation, and quality assurance highly desired
Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays
Other focuses:
Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Morale at the Kiel facility.
Root cause/corrective action investigations for unplanned events.
Ensure compliance of GMP's and the Food Safety Plan.
Communicate and coordinate with supervisors and functions to optimize operations and resources.
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production schedules to meet and exceed customer requirements and business goals.
Understand the financial impact of Line Efficiency, Material Yield, and Labor Productivity on plant budgets and develop Action Plans to address gaps.
Take active leadership role in promoting diversity and inclusion.
Salary Range: $69,040 - $103,560
