Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Marine Service Training Department Manager to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. The Marine Service Training Department Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of training programs through the Learning Management System (LMS) for marine personnel.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for the Marine section within the Learning Management System, ensuring its content, functionality, and user experience are always top-notch.
- Manage all technician programs including the Master Technician program, ensuring their effectiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Lead a dynamic team of administrators, driving excellence in the management and optimization of the Learning Management System.
- Manage the evaluation and scheduling of all marine training classes
- Continuously enhance and elevate the marine technician experience within the Learning Management System
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field.
- A strong educational background in administration, such as a degree in Business Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications or coursework in administration or management is a plus.
- 5 years of relevant experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) or related fields such as Education, Instructional or Training and Development.
- Leadership experience within the LMS field, ideally in an educational context, overseeing task delegation and the development and delivery of comprehensive employee training programs.
- Expertise in providing outstanding customer support and guidance to participants, with a proven ability to address inquiries and foster a positive, engaging learning experience.
- Proficient in using computers, software applications and skilled in clear, professional written communication.
