Job Summary
The Operations Associate will assist with the day-to-day operations of the exams processing functions in the operations department in alignment with our organization's specifications and quality requirements. This position is responsible for the collection, organization and processing of exam-related data for our international, large-scale English language examinations administered in both paper-based and digital formats.
Responsibilities*
- Perform administrative activities required for scoring, including liaising with 3rd party support services and internal staff, and utilizing internal software.
- Perform administrative activities required for managing the material returns process for paper-based exams and initiate follow up procedures if there is any delay in the return of materials from centers.
- Perform administrative activities required for tracking instances of nonconforming test delivery. Support executing corrective actions as directed.
- Assist with activities for review of potential malpractice cases in accordance with quality control guidelines, including preparing documentation and participating in committee meetings.
- Assist with exam processing activities for publishing results in print and digital format, ensuring all quality control measures are executed, and documentation recorded.
- Assist with all reprint and result verifications requests in a timely, accurate, and secure manner.
- Provide other operational support as directed.
Required Qualifications*
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to build positive professional relationships.
- Well-developed analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced-level attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- The ability to learn additional computer-based programs, as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of related on-the-job experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications*
- Proven work experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM platforms.
- Shipping both domestically and internationally.
- Familiar with University of Michigan policies and procedures.
Work Locations
Michigan Language Assessment is seeking candidates located in or around Ann Arbor and supports a fully remote work from home schedule with occasionally scheduled in person activities.
