Performs tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records as well as handling the full cycle of payroll processing. Duties may include checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards, maintaining time and attendance records, posting changes in pay and tax status, and miscellaneous changes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Responsible for processing payroll for all employees, including extract hours from time and attendance, load into WFN, and reconcile before processing payroll.
- Main point of contact for employees to help on any questions/problems they may have regarding their check.
- Input all necessary employee information into ADP, i.e. new hires, terminations, final checks, promotions, salary changes, title changes etc.
- Partner with temp agencies to get new temporary personnel set up in Time & Attendance and process temporary personnel terminations.
- Work with auditors on audits. Provide any data being requested, analysis data being provided by auditors, and reconcile any data that isn’t balancing.
- Serves as the Workers Compensation liaison, which includes working with applicable agencies for filing workers compensation claims and completing any necessary forms.
- Respond to unemployment claims in all states for which Yamaha operates, i.e. complete required forms and send back to applicable state agency.
- Calculate and monitor salary coordination for eligible employees on leave of absence.
- Respond to and process all verbal and written verification of employment requests.
- Prepare and create standard and ad-hoc reports for time & attendance and payroll wage data.
- Assist with the procurement, sale, and communications for employee entertainment tickets.

What you Need to be Successful:
- AA degree preferred (High School Diploma or equivalent required)
- 1-3 years payroll experience
- ADP WorkforceNow experience required
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Excel, MS Word and ADP software

The pay range for this position is $48,340 to $79,770. Yamaha intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related experience. Base pay is part of Yamaha's Total Reward program, our Talent Acquisition Team will share more details as candidates progress.
