Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Product Analyst to join the Knowledge Solutions Product Team. This position will be responsible for working with the business and practices to come up with prioritized user stories and use cases and working with the project management team, content team and development team to create and configure solutions using design thinking methodologies, process mapping, and wireframing to meet the use cases.
Reporting to the Director of Knowledge Solutions Product Management, the Product Analyst will come up with standards for documentation and verify artifacts are created as appropriate throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, this team is responsible for the adoption and change management of the solutions that fall under their portfolio. The Product Analyst merges and understands the requirements of the business with a strong understanding of both the products they are responsible for and solutions available to the firm. Based on this understanding, the Product Analyst create and customize their products to make them intuitive and to meet and exceed the business requirements.
This position will reside in our Philadelphia office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
Engage with business to come up with defined use cases to create intuitive, well-designed products by understanding what the firm business units do and where knowledge products fit into the firm.
Keep track of what is available in the market in responsible product areas to suggest what products should be built versus bought.
Measure product success by tracking objective analytics as well as continual engagement with the firm to collect subjective feedback.
Work with Knowledge leadership to create and execute a robust change management program.
Continuously improve products by prioritizing a back log of features with the business needs in mind.
Work with business analysts to fully document business and functional requirements of responsible products.
Work with technical team to verify products / experiences are being delivered as designed.
Responsible for appropriate policies, documentation and communication of policies, and enforcement of those policies.
Create definitions of specific product roles within business and technology teams to appropriate administer product.
Assist in creating product specific training materials.
Work with project management and knowledge leadership to maintain product roadmap and execute against roadmap.
Responsible for building and maintain expertise with the product stack, including personal training and involvement within product community.
Work to market products with the goal of increasing firm awareness and looking for additional appropriate use cases for products, including outreach and communications.
Maintain trusted product advisory group to advise on product direction and roadmap.
Assist in maintaining an up-to-date list of firm resources in the firm’s enterprise architecture documentation.
Work with implementation teams to ensure well-tested and thought through products are delivered to the firm.
Experience/Qualifications:
Prior experience with transactional legal work strongly preferred but not required.
JD strongly preferred but not required.
Minimum of a bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
Minimum 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands.
Understanding of collaboration technology, profiling applications and process and/or enterprise search tools such as SharePoint, iManage Insight, and/or Foundation strongly preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals with differing opinions and diverse personalities across all experience levels.

Project management, time management, and organizational skills to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

Discretion in dealing with confidential information.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and professional publications, prepare business correspondence, proposals and reports, effectively present information to groups of employees, and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients and vendors.
Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide all units of measure).
Advanced arithmetic skills (compute rate, ratio, percent; able to draw and interpret graphs and charts).
