Job Responsibilities:Perform cutoff, surface finish operations, gaging, and installation of Rotors, on Rad Fan components utilizing manual equipment and automated equipment in accordance with manufacturing and quality procedures Inspect work completed on components to internal inspection criteria for compliance with quality or engineering requirements. Responsible for performing work in a safe manner.
Necessary skills include:
- Reading simple blueprints
- Reading scales
- Testing equipment
- Understanding basic math functions including counting and decimals
- Use of measurement devices including calipers
- Micrometers, etc.
- Welding,
- Operating electrical testing equipment, and operating an industrial truck.
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience
- This is a 3rd shift job- $1.25 Shift Differential
- Electrical background
- Overhead Crane training
- Forklift license
- Unusual fatigue factors including frequent and prolonged standing/walking
- Heavy lifting (45+ lbs.)
- Repeated bending
- Straight pulling and pushing
- Exposure to intermittent noise (90 DB)
- Ability to distinguish basic colors
- Exposure to epoxy, solvent, degreasers, paint, vapors, heat, dust, and smoke from burning
