Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Seasonal Switchboard Operator to work Three-10 hour shifts a week for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities
Our Seasonal Switchboard operator will be responsible for operating the Kimball Midwest telephone switchboard for a high volume of calls and directing the calls to the correct department.
This is a remote position ( must live near Columbus Ohio). You will work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 7:00am-5:30pm (30 hours) from 11/13/2024 – 12/31/2024.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year of prior receptionist, administrative, clerical or customer service experience preferred
- Experience with extremely busy phone lines and has a general understanding phone systems helpful
- Excellent phone etiquette, possesses exceptional interpersonal skills
- Requires basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to respond quickly to problems
- Dependable (punctual, reports to work )
- Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion
