Position Overview
The Senior Restaurant Manager is a key leader in our Food & Beverage operation, overseeing the day-to-day management of our food and beverage outlets. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, this role ensures exceptional service, operational efficiency, and a seamless dining experience while leading a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations & Service Excellence
- Lead the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficiency, quality, and outstanding guest experiences.
- Maintain high service standards, ensuring every interaction aligns with Alila’s luxury brand.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with culinary teams to curate innovative menus and beverage offerings that enhance the guest experience.
Financial & Strategic Management
- Oversee restaurant budgets, cost controls, and revenue goals, optimizing profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, implement strategies to drive revenue, and control expenses effectively.
- Partner with the Director of F&B on forecasting, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives.
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating pricing and contracts for optimal cost management.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor restaurant teams, fostering a culture of professionalism, growth, and service excellence.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing coaching and feedback to drive individual and team success.
- Develop staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage while managing labor costs.
- Lead by example, cultivating a positive work environment that supports teamwork and motivation.
Guest Experience & Engagement
- Act as a visible presence in the restaurant, engaging with guests to enhance satisfaction and build relationships.
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews, implementing service enhancements as needed.
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring timely resolutions that exceed expectations.
Innovation & Sustainability
- Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing creative dining concepts, beverage programs, and service enhancements.
- Implement sustainability initiatives, such as waste reduction and sourcing local, organic ingredients.
- Collaborate with other departments
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $90,000 – $95,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant and leadership experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining setting.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational success.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Expertise in guest service, with a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
- Certifications in Food Safety and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including moving stock, kegs, and other restaurant-related items.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving on foot throughout shifts.
- Exposure to heat, humidity, and cleaning chemicals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
