Job Description:
Join a leading defense integratoras a Software Engineer onsite in Richardson, Texas (less than 30 minutes from downtown Dallas!) Candidates must be US citizens and maintain a Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance or aboveas a condition and continuation of employment. This team is currently growing and hiring mid through senior level software engineers with the below technical stack. Minimum requirement is 2+ years of professional experience.
Our mission is to help our nation and allies protect & defend our country and freems with our problem solving. In this role you will work on classified applications supporting these crucial programs. This will be a long-term project in supprot of these functions.
What You Will Do:
- Utilize your understanding of software engineering principles, theories, and concepts, including the software development lifecycle, design patterns, and Object-Oriented architecture to develop full-stack applications within a JAVA environment
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Apply your critical thinking skills to communicate concepts and ideas effectively.
- Obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with preference for Computer Science degree
- 2+ years of object-oriented programming experience using JAVA
- Exposure to Agile processes and environment
- Active U.S. government-issued Top-Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a SCI or Polygraph while on project.
- Willingness/ability to work onsite in SCIF environment in Texas
Preferred Qualifications:
- DevOps or DevSecOps experience including containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelining
- Experience with building automated tests.
