Description:Join our Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team as we are pioneers of high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment, sensors, strike system
and energy storage solutions to provide our war fighting and civilian customers the products and services they need in their defining moments.
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer Associate for a position in Orlando, FL to develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering common processes that are aligned
with AS9100 Quality Management System, Program and Customer requirements.
The Software Quality Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develops, modifies and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make
and/or buy software products; develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives; designs
and implements software development and maintenance processes; defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes; designs, specifies and conducts test methods for software
inspection, verification and validation; evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction; ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards; performs software
product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements; reviews requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and
methodologies; performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Travel may be required to support program activities.
Candidate must work well in a team environment as this role requires interfacing with systems and software development personnel, test and evaluation personnel, and project managers.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical Engineering degree preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.

Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Ability to understand software design and source code (ADA / C / C++) to verify correct implementation of requirements.

Lab/Test equipment hardware knowledge or background skills.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening, presentation and technical writing.

Ability to travel

Hands-on experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)

Familiar with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and Gitlab.

Familiar with automated test system platforms (NI TestStand, NI LabVIEW).


Basic understanding of electro-mechanical engineering drawings with the ability to inspect them for compliance.

Basic understanding of audit techniques.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
