YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Accountant for Thom Browne / Zegna, you will play a key role within the Finance group.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• Oversees the accounting operations for U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance across both regions.
• Manages and leads all intercompany reconciliations, facilitating seamless coordination and accurate elimination of intercompany transactions.
• Conducts detailed account reconciliations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all general ledger accounts.
• Manages fixed asset reconciliations, ensuring proper recording, valuation, and reporting of all fixed assets.
• Leads sales reconciliations, ensuring accurate tracking and alignment of sales revenue, from invoicing to financial reporting.
• Payroll Entries and Reconciling payroll liability accounts for US & Canada
• Assisting with Sox controls
• Post Journal Entries as needed provided by Controller, COO, FP&A Director, and Parent Company
• Month-end and year-end closing activities include preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely completion of close
• Working closely with senior management to make sure sales deadlines are met
• Asist Finance department with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as needed
• Streamlining procedures, systems and activities to achieve improved processes
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of audits by providing necessary financial information and responding to auditor inquiries

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail, fashion, consumer packaged goods, or a CPA firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required).
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and structure large volumes of data.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Results-driven, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams.
