5% travel is required to customer sites as needed.
Candidate shall relocate to Fortmill, SC metro area for this position.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 7+ years of experience must include the following: software development experience using Embedded C/C++, Java following Software Development Life Cycle
- 3 years of experience with the following:Device drivers,AOSP customization, Android HAL, Android framework or Kernel development experience
- Experience in customer facing engineering
WE VALUE
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field, and 5 years of software development experience
- Android Board bring up and Android porting onto Mobile devices is highly desired
- Experience with Camera, Audio, Bluetooth, WIFI are desirable.
- Understanding various software development lifecycle
- Some relevant experience
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
- Effective communicator
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
- Can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
