JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

LOCATION: Irving, TX

DUTIES: Build and drive teams, enterprise partners, and vendors in delivering innovative digital products through the software design and development of reusable software components. Develop and implement e-Commerce strategy to improve application performance. Ensure efficient execution of overall product delivery by prioritizing, planning, and tracking sprint progress, which may include the development of shippable code. Actively engage in product and business discussions with a technical eye for feasibility and adherence to overall roadmaps and architectural strategy. Model an environment of strong collaboration and partnership with engineers, domain architects, product leaders, stakeholders, and partners to drive execution of roadmap, negotiate changes in priorities, and manage communication of impacts. Lead and guide software developers in an Agile POD-based delivery sprint. Train and help evaluate employee performance. Implement best practices and coding standards to ensure code quality and to avoid monetary damage. Work with Java, Microservices, REST API development, Spring boot, Spring JPA, Spring MVC, Node JS, React JS, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Amazon web services, Google Cloud, Jenkins, GIT, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include6 years of experience in software design and development in the retail or e-Commerce domain. 6 years of experience working with Java, Microservices, REST API development, Spring boot, Spring JPA, Spring MVC, Node JS, React JS, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, Amazon web services, Google Cloud, Jenkins, GIT, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
