Job Description
Solicits/reviews supplier proposals, develops evaluation criteria, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, develops subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Statuses and manages supplier deliveries, coordinates material receipts and manages resolution of issues related to contractual requirements and resolves invoice issues. Develops subcontracts and subcontract files, coordinates work requirements with the Product team, and defines terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, services and participates in Zero Defect initiatives with suppliers.

A successful candidate must be able to be an effective communicator internally and externally at all levels and in a fast-paced environment, build mutually beneficial relationships, be willing to advance their knowledge of procurement compliance, and proactively adopt best practices and support new initiatives.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Ability to understand large, complex multifaceted stakeholders, external or otherwise

Familiarity and experience with understanding of the role of procurement in complex industries.
Experience with purchase orders and/or procurement-related activity, including management of purchase orders to specified requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook), including but not limited to being able to assimilate and compile disparate data points to produce coherent reports and conclusions about suppliers
Planning, scheduling, and budget management
Exceptional people skills, including: active listening; the ability to mediate disputes; tolerant of differences; predicting behavioral response; and strong communication
Bachelor's Degree
U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Familiarity of FAR and DFAR regulations and of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)
- Understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process.

Desire for continuous improvement
Generosity of thought and knowledge
Familiarity with Oracle purchasing system
Technical Background (Ability to read drawings)
Secret clearance or secret eligible.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $69960 - $118920

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
