Technical Consultant (IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia)Job Description
As a Technical Consultant for the Philips IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia (ICCA) solutions, you will lead the coordination and communication of very complex systems and their compatibility both internally and externally, as well as overseeing extensive enterprise-level multi-quarter initiatives.
Your role:
- Performing all pre-work required to minimize service interruption, i.e. collecting data to determine appropriate system workflows, understanding the deliverables and statement of work and identifying the customer environment to mitigate technical risks and contingencies.
- Collaborating with Philips technical resources and project managers, as well as customer IT resources to provide guidance and recommendations on clear network, data migration and risk mitigation strategies.
- Providing technical support for customer calls in conjunction with project managers. Troubleshooting general system configuration at the platform and application levels, researching defects listed in release notes and collaborating with engineering to determine impact based on customer requirements.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities to deliver the product and services to the field more efficiently and effectively.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of new market hardware and software solutions, as well as documenting all site changes that are not part of the upgrade process.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 7+ years of experience in healthcare information technology, have a strong knowledge of hospital workflows and have worked in customer service delivery, with a focus on technical implementation.
- Your skills include:
- Extensive knowledge of networking, virtualization, server hardware, Windows domains, system performance and SQL Server.
- Strong analytical expertise and excellent diagnostics capabilities.
- Knowledge of Critical Care Informatics/Philips ICCA and HL7 – a plus.
- You have a bachelor’s degree.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- You’re an excellent communicator, exhibit a professional demeanor and have a customer first mindset.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, or WV is $76,000 to $131,000
The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, or WY is $80,000 to $138,000
The pay range for this position in AK, DE, MD, NY, RI, or WA is $108,000 to $144,000
The pay range for this position in CA, CT, DC, MA, or NJ is $90,000 to $154,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
