Job Summary
The Ticket Inventory Specialist will be responsible for advising on ticket inventory across multiple distribution channels while reporting, balancing, and settling ticket revenues. The individual will act as a key liaison between the team, its affiliates, and external ticketing partners.
Essential Functions
- Furnish pricing recommendations and ticket marketplace analysis including, projections, trends, weaknesses, and areas of success in order to maximize ticket sales revenue.
- Make recommendations on strategies surrounding individual game sales such as dynamic pricing, ticket utilization, and sales campaigns. Update ticket pricing in AXS.
- Utilize AXS BackOffice system as well as identified partner solutions to optimize distribution and revenue related to single game transactions, group tickets, and season ticket products. Participate in the ticket inventory decision making process.
- Oversee relationship between LA Kings, its affiliates, and external ticket partners such as FEVO. Act as liaison with identified ticketing partners and internal ticket operations teams.
- Manage ticket inventory on a game-by-game basis, ensuring ample inventory is held aside for integrated and non-integrated individual game sales.
- Research and report on primary & secondary market platforms that internal sales departments can use to distribute tickets.
- Create reports, including audits and distribution lists for each individual home game, ensuring accurate game day reports and payment settlements.
Required Qualifications
The Ticket Inventory Specialist must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skill and abilities:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); ability to learn required business systems
- Ability to prioritize, delegate workload, and solve problems efficiently and quickly
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external clients by representing the organization and department professionally
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Assertive, motivated, self-starter, autonomous, collaborative
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Available to work various hours including evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of AXS & FEVO ticketing software
- Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education:
- A BA/BS Degree (4-year) Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of related experience
- 2+ years utilizing ticketing software; AXS preferred
- Experience in sports and entertainment ticketing industry preferred
Pay Scale: $67,000 - $69,000
