Warehouse Inventory Specialist
Description
This position will be responsible for managing warehouse inventory, supporting daily production schedules, and performing cycle count duties to ensure all material is identified and correct in our ERP system. Must be highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision. This position is expected to interact with Production Team Members, Management, and Vendors as necessary. Scheduled shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with overtime, including weekends, as business needs dictate.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Accurately kit work orders using the bill of material to support production schedules daily
Replenish line stock items in assembly areas daily
Return unused parts to proper location
Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non- confirming materials daily
Research inventory discrepancies to see what corrective actions can be implemented
Collaborates with Business Analyst to process adjustments and resolve discrepancies promptly
Proper disposal of corrugate boxes/ warehouse packaging materials in recycling dumpster
Promptly unload all trucks, check for shipping damage, verify accuracy of delivery to the pack slip, inspect parts, label and put away parts.
Back up for shipping and receiving documents in ERP system and filling paperwork
Work with Manager to create inventory policies and procedures
Resolve open issues in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and orderly stock room
Helps with racking locations, labeling and other inventory location projects
Frequently kneels, reaches, and carries boxes
Must be able to lift, carry, or push a maximum of 50-lbs
Be accountable
Follow safety rules and guidelines
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma, GED, equivalent
Forklift certification
- Experience working with ERP/MRP business system and competence in using Microsoft Office products
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
- Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems
- Demonstrate personal time management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work self-directed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Results oriented individual that is helpful and consumer-oriented, procedural, and meticulous, a team-builder and team player, and have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal form, as well as listening skills are all imperative for this position
- Ability to demonstrate a passion for research and analysis and possess exceptional troubleshooting skills. Have knowledge of ISO 9001 Certification and the ability to query and manipulate the data
- Self-motivated and proactive tendencies that require minimal supervision, work comfortable in a cross-functional setting and in a constantly evolving environment, and demonstrate the ability to stay calm in stressful and uncertain times, inspiring the same in the team
