BLOX Digital is a leading digital solutions provider for media organizations across the United States and beyond. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality Assurance team.

Position Responsibilities

• Install and configure software on testing environments
• Conduct software compatibility and regression tests
• Documents results and offers improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
• Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation
• Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside the organization
• Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for quality assurance processes

• Identify program deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• At least 3+ years of quality assurance experience in agile development environments
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Minimum 3+ years experience with web-based application testing
• Minimum 3+ years experience with integration testing between applications
• Defines problems, collects data, established facts, draws valid conclusions, and provides solutions
• Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
• Self-starter that can work side by side with development team
• Ability to multi-task and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
• Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and testing life cycle

• Must be able to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person

Education & Experience

• Understanding of application integration
• Industry experience in News and Broadcast services
• Working knowledge of Atlassian products
• Familiarity with programming languages and MySQL
• Familiarity with scripting languages used in test automation a plus
• Scalability and performance testing
• Bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience
• Desire to learn new technologies

Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
